The term VoIP or Voice over IP refers to the transfer of voice packets over networks based on Internet technology and, more specifically, the IP Protocol. The IP protocol on which the whole Internet is based on was created to implement the transmission of data in the form of data packets. This means that when a data document is transferred over the Internet is cut into small IP packets and sent over the network. When the document reaches its destination, the packets are joined again thus recreating the original document. The same logic applies if the data transferred corresponds to a voice conversation. The voice is digitized, chopped into packets of data transferred over the network via the IP protocol. At the destination the packets are rejoined to recreate the voice stream. Here we should make clear that VoIP refers to the transfer of voice over any IP network. Such a network is the Internet of course, but when considering VoIP it does not necessarily mean that we carry voice over the Internet only. It can be any IP-based network (such as a private corporate WAN network).

For the future we should consider as sure thing the increasing usage of packet data networks and especially IP-based networks for telephony. The trend is there also for big telecommunications companies which implement their backbone networks on such IP technologies but also for companies that build their network infrastructure for telephony. Also, as data networks and telephony will be consolidated, we will see more and more addressing protocols that enable us to send emails to and from landline telephones to call a user computer from our phone and vice versa, making the most out of the phone and the voice part of the communication network. In addition, a very important perspective is related to the deployment of IP telephony over wireless broadband networks. Although not considered a threat to other forms of telephony, it may find application in various fields of entrepreneurship.

Αυτό θα το δικαιολογήσω προς το παρών αφού το πρώτο μάτς υπήρχε η κούραση και απογοήτευση της Ευρώπης ενώ στο χθεσινό με τον Εθνικό δεν υπήρχε ο κόσμος. Πρέπει όμως να ξυπνήσουμε γρήγορα γιατί ο δρόμος είναι μακρύς και δύσκολος.

Επιτέλους σήμερα τελείωσαν όλα και πήραμε το 20 μας πρωτάθλημα πάνω στον αιώνιο αντίπαλο. Είταν ο πιο γλυκός τίτλος όλων των εποχών. Πέξαμε με καρδιά και ψυχή πρωταθλητή και κάναμε όλους να παραδεκτούν ότι αυτό τον τίτλο τον αξίζαμε πέρα για πέρα. Κλείσαμε σήμερα πολλά στώματα, και ειδικά των φανατισμένων Αποελιστών που διαλαλούσαν ότι αγοράσαμε όλα τα παιχνίδια τους πρωταθλήματος. Άντε γαμη, άντε γαμήσου Αποέλ!!!!
